Sounding Soil is an artistic and scientific project concerned with sounds in the soil. It’s a collaboration between different institutions and disciplines and is initiated and coordinated by artistic researcher Marcus Maeder. One part of the project is the development of an audio recorder for monitoring and capturing animal sounds in the soil. My task was the development of the mobile app that configures and controls the recorder over bluetooth.
